Anime Jumpgate

Finally, a new review! This time it’s Akikan!, an interesting series to say the least.

Four years later, and this site is still going. May 17, 2005 I created this site for myself and friends, and whoever wanted to talk about anime in a relaxed environment.

While it hasn’t exactly grown as well as I originally envisioned, I’m still very proud of what we have accomplished over this time.

This is made even more special with the recent airing of new Haruhi Suzumiya Episodes. The first new episodes, outside of Haruhi-chan, in almost three years. So thank you all for your support over the years, and here’s hoping that we still have a long time to come!

Recently finished watching this one, and I’m sure this is going to be a popular pick in the states very soon. Be sure to check it out!

Time to get off my butt and start doing some reviews of recent series. Here’s the latest, with My-HiME!

The Forums have finally been converted to Zetaboards, so we’re up and good to go! This opens the door for me to start my Top Anime List, as well as for members to start coming back and getting into the swing of things.

The Banner for the forums is currently a work in progress, but I hope you like it. It’s incorporating our original banner, with some Haruhi goodness. ^_^

Those of you who have given me encouragement in my New Year’s Resolution to catch up on all the anime that I’m behind on, I thought you’d like to follow along with me. I’ve made a post on the forums, to keep track, and you can keep track with me. ^_^

One of the major upcoming changes, aside from the main page, will be a revamping of the forums. I have already sent in the request to upgrade the Invisionfree to Zetaboards. I’ve used these forums before, and they are much nicer than what we currently have. Afterwards, we can go from there as to what our next step is.

As my New Year Resolution, aside from getting a job, I vowed to revamp something I started a long time ago. That is Anime Jumpgate, my anime website and forums for my friends and anyone else interested in discussing anime. This is something that I’ve laxed on a lot lately, and something that has weighed heavily on me. Hopefully this won’t be all talk, and we’ll actually be able to do something with this site that we’ll be proud of. ^_^
